Terms of use

The short version: this is research, not a quote; we introduce you to a contractor but we are not the contractor; and the contract for your patio cover is between you and them.

Effective 3 August 2026 · AuthenitcBrand, LLC · lasvegaspatiocoverguide.com

These terms govern your use of Las Vegas Patio Cover Guide at lasvegaspatiocoverguide.com, published by AuthenitcBrand, LLC. By using the site or submitting a request through it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this service is

Las Vegas Patio Cover Guide is an independent research and referral service operated by AuthenitcBrand, LLC. We are not a licensed contractor, we do not perform construction work, and we do not sell patio covers. When you send a request through this site we pass it to an independent local contractor who is licensed to do the work. Any quote, contract, warranty and workmanship is between you and that contractor. Always verify a contractor's licence, status and monetary limit yourself at nvcontractorsboard.com before signing anything or paying a deposit.

We publish research about patio cover costs, permits, materials and contractor licensing in the Las Vegas valley, and we pass homeowner requests to independent contractors. We are paid by those contractors. We are not paid by you and we do not take a payment through this site.

We are not a contractor

Nevada law makes it unlawful to advertise as a contractor without a licence, and this site is not a licensed contractor. We do not perform construction work, we do not design or engineer structures, we do not supply materials, and we do not quote prices for work. Nobody at this site will ever come to your house, price your job, or ask you for a deposit. If someone does any of those things claiming to represent us, it is not us — tell us and tell the Nevada State Contractors Board.

2. The research is research, not advice

Everything published here is general information about a market. It is not legal advice, not engineering advice, not construction advice, and not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed professional who has actually looked at your property.

  • Cost figures are ranges, not quotes. They are current as of August 2026, drawn from the sources cited on each page, and your actual bid may fall outside them. Nobody can price your job from a web page.
  • Code, permit and fee information is a lay reading. It was accurate to the best of our knowledge on the dates shown on each page and in the claim ledger on our about page. Codes are amended, fee schedules are reissued, and statutes change every legislative session. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the jurisdiction before you act on it.
  • We publish what we could not verify. Where a figure is not published by an authoritative source, we say so rather than inventing one. The absence of a number on this site is deliberate and is not an oversight.

If you find an error here, tell us through the contact page. We will correct it and date the correction.

3. How the referral works, and its limits

When you submit a request, we pass your details to an independent patio cover contractor working in your jurisdiction. What happens after that is between you and that company.

  • We do not employ, supervise, control, or direct any contractor's work.
  • We are not a party to any contract you sign, any deposit you pay, any warranty you are offered, or any dispute that follows.
  • We make no representation or warranty about any contractor's licence status, insurance, bonding, workmanship, pricing, schedule, or suitability for your job. Where we name companies anywhere on this site, we say plainly that we have not verified their licensure and we show you how to check it yourself.
  • A referral is an introduction. It is not a recommendation, an endorsement, a vetting, or a guarantee.

Please check the licence before you sign anything. The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes a free public licence search and a separate disciplinary search, and it can be reached in southern Nevada on (702) 486-1100. Confirm the licence is active, that its classification covers this work, and that its monetary limit is above your contract price. Our vetting guide walks through the whole check, including Nevada's deposit cap of the lesser of $1,000 or 10% of the contract price and the residential recovery fund's limits.

4. Your side of it

When you use this site, you agree that:

  • The information you submit is accurate, and the telephone number you give is one you are entitled to receive calls and messages at.
  • You are submitting a request about a real project on property you own or occupy, or that you are authorised to act for.
  • You will not submit somebody else's details without their permission, and you will not use the form to send unsolicited commercial messages, abuse, or anything unlawful.
  • You will not scrape, mirror, republish or bulk-copy the research on this site. You are welcome to quote a passage with attribution and a link, and we would rather you did that than paraphrase us badly.
  • You will not attempt to interfere with the site, its security, or its availability.

5. Text message program

We operate a text messaging program for customer care relating to requests submitted through this site. Enrolment is entirely optional.

What it is. If you tick the consent box on the request form, Las Vegas Patio Cover Guide and the independent contractor we connect you with may call and text you about the request you submitted — arranging a site visit, confirming details of your project, and sending you a quote. These are conversational and transactional messages about your own enquiry. It is not a marketing list and it is not a newsletter.

Frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on the conversation about your project.

Consent is optional. The checkbox is not required to submit the form and consent is not a condition of any purchase. If you leave it unticked, we will contact you by email instead, and your request is passed on exactly the same way.

6. How to stop the messages

Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You can also opt out by writing to us through the contact page.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or use the contact page.

If you opt out and later want to resume, you can re-enrol by submitting a new request with the consent box ticked. Opting out of messages does not withdraw a request you have already sent; it only changes how you are contacted.

7. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any charges for sending or receiving text messages are set by your mobile carrier under your own plan and are your responsibility. We do not charge you for messages. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what your plan includes.

8. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your carrier's network and on factors outside our control, and we cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, or delivered promptly. Supported carriers may change. Do not rely on a text message for anything time-critical.

9. Age restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, to submit a request, or to enrol in the text message program. This site is intended for adults arranging construction work on property they own or occupy. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the request form.

10. No warranty

The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every figure on it is current, or that any particular contractor will contact you, quote you, or take your job. We especially do not warrant the work of any independent contractor. Their work is theirs.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AuthenitcBrand, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site or of any introduction made through it — including any act, omission, delay, defect, damage, dispute or loss involving a contractor you were introduced to.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects your rights against a contractor under Nevada law, including any claim against the residential recovery fund.

12. Our content

The research, writing, tables, structure and design of this site belong to AuthenitcBrand, LLC. You may read it, print it, quote a reasonable passage with attribution and a link, and take it with you to a sales appointment — that is what it is for. You may not republish it wholesale, sell it, or pass it off as your own. Statutes, code sections and government documents quoted here are public records and belong to nobody.

13. Links out

We link to building departments, statutes, standards bodies, research papers, cost guides and contractors' websites. Those sites are not ours and we do not control their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.

14. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, who your details go to, how SMS opt-in data is handled, and how to have your information deleted. It forms part of these terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site belongs in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date at the top changes, and the version published here is the version in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms go through the contact page, which reaches AuthenitcBrand, LLC directly.

Attorney review pending

These terms were drafted in-house to describe what this site actually does, rather than copied from a template that describes some other business. They are scheduled for review by a Nevada attorney within 30 days of launch.
